FAQDo you lease to
individuals?
At this time, UniSource only leases business to business.
The one exception to that rule is a mechanic who works as an
independent contractor. If a mechanic has been a
contractor for two years or longer, we can work with him or
her.
What is your
interest rate?
That's a good question, and
we hear it a lot. The answer is that there is no
interest rate on a lease. It's not a loan, like a
mortgage or financing a car. Instead, a lease is a
structured rental plan - you're renting equipment from us at
a fixed payment for a fixed period of time. The best
question to ask about a lease is this: "What are my
payments going to be?" If you ask around, you will
find out that UniSource is extremely competitive.
Do I have to give my
equipment back when the lease is over?
That all depends on what you want. Our most popular
program is the $1.00 buyout lease - at the end of the rental
term, you pay $1.00 and you own the equipment. If you
would prefer to return the equipment at lease end, just let
us know, and we'll help you set that up.
Do you lease to
start-up businesses?
YES! In fact,
UniSource is one of the few lease companies who do start-up
leasing. We have helped hundreds of people get what
they need to open the doors of their business, and
we'd love to help you. In fact, leasing is ideal for
start-ups, because you don't have to tie up precious capital
in equipment. Call us and ask what we can do for you.
Do you have a
toll-free number?
We sure do. It's
800-404-6792.
What are your credit
requirements?
That question is more complicated than it sounds. We
don't have a "list" of credit requirements, because we don't
limit ourselves to customers who have great credit. Of
course, we have leasing programs for people with good
credit, but we also have programs for the financially
challenged. The best, shortest, answer to your
question is for you to give us a call. Explain your
situation to us, and we'll give you an honest evaluation at
no cost to you.
Who are some of your
customers?
We'd love to tell you, but
that would probably violate our customers' privacy.
Here's what we can say: Some of the biggest auto parts
retailers in the United States recommend us to their
customers. We have existing clients all over the
United States. In fact, you've probably driven past
one of our customers sometime this month. If you're
want to know what our customers think of us, call us and
we'll fax you some of the letters we keep on file from
satisfied clients.
